Absolutely possible...
So what I've come to realize is that there is no specific attachment point between the upper portion on the parcel shelf i.e. where the speakers mount and the body of the car. The only attachment points are the center "tab" behind the lower section and then the two screws at the very bottom of the corners of the lower piece.
