That sounds very interesting....thank you! Funny you should mention your Mom because this batch is to be shared with my Mom who lives in town here on her own. At 97 she doesn't cook as much as she used to and of course stopped driving so I bring over provisions and also prepared food at least weekly. She's not too crazy about strong flavours so will do the garlic technique you mentioned next time in a small batch just for myself....although I will also share some with her and get her reaction. Will keep you posted!
