Mine is a pump, but I use the heavy Beeman Kodiak pellets in the .177 as they seem to have the best accuracy in my rifle. I can shoot point blank on ground squirrels out to 29 yards.
If I really have to reach out on ground squirrels we have an OLD 10-22 that will make dime sized holes all day at 60 yards.
Now that this thread has come up and gun deer season opens Saturday, I better go through all our equipment.
