Sunroof on G body was a 'option', an additional equipment request to the factory when ordering the car, not a 'delete'. A 'delete' was a request to the factory to not have a standard item installed.

I think the confusion is that so so many were ordered with the sunroof option that one rarely sees a G-body without one
