Let's put it this way, the hospital told me to not see a dentist for 30 days before the initial surgery. Yesterday the surgeon asked me if I'd seen a dentist lately. Might be a coincidence, but there are strong indications that there is a correlation. So other factors figure in as well.
How did I know something was wrong? Well, in this case the infection started at the joint and pushed its way to the skin appearing as a huge boil the size of a half dollar.
So when the planets line up it's your turn. This is the first and only surgery I've had in my life. By mid next year that might be 2-3 more.
