Milt, sorry to hear you're having problems with infection. I'd think after 23 months you'd be pretty much in the clear. I had three surgeries, four if you count the scope job, before I quit chasing the "perfect" shoulder replacement. I settled for one that works pretty well and doesn't bother (hurt) me very often. Just keep pushing until you get to where you want to be.
And hang on to your tools. I've still got all of mine, plus a 50 year old Econoline I used to haul a Formula Ford all around the southwest back in the '70's. I don't do much car work these days, but I sleep better knowing I could (at 73) if the opportunity arose. And I always have access to several 10MM sockets, boxes, opens...
