Hi guys,
I was just giving the information requested. I have no desire to ever convert one of my 912's. I am an older guy who has owned many cars including 3 porsches.
I prefer my 912 with it's original, but modified powerplant.
My car has 130 reliable horespower and a 7000 rpm redline. The brakes and suspension are modified as well.
In race trim I had 165 HP and often reved close to 8000 rpm.
In any case, some people like to play harder and that's OK. I have modified other vehicles.
My Dodge Dakota had 1200 miles on it when I pulled the tranny to do a shift kit. Then came the Blower and Viper Brakes that will go on later this month.
It's fun to play. I wish the renegade V8 installer all the luck. Just don't cut it up too much. It might be worth something someday. Regards, JMB
