Of course I am looking at a gear chart. Only a weirdo or technician would have all that memorized.
You do not need a 915 or 930 trans to do the swap. That 902 trans will handle 350 hp. I doubt that you will have that much HP with your 327 on pump gas.
Your goal of 70 mph at 2500 rpm is unrealistic. Just shift.
If you thought it would cost too much to make power with the 912 motor, wait until you start playing with tranny gears. You'll wish you had left it alone.
You should have no problem reaching really dangerous speeds quickly with your V8.
225 hp should put your car in the 13's at the 1/4 mile. Again good luck, JMB...
