Enders,
Your the one that's going to determine the rpm range of you motor. If you are going to throw an unidentified or junkyard motor in this car you are not going about things in a logical manner.
A 327 or any other early smallblock chevy can be built to turn 7000 rpm, but you will not need that. 5500 rpm is a realistic redline for a basic smallblock.
This endeavour will no doubt cost as much or more than a good 912 rebuild.
