And yes, I remember a couple of guys in Oregon who purchased an "S" in similar condition, in hopes of using its VIN to increase the value of a "T" that they had restored. Pretty sordid tale. There was a guy in Calgary that did the same thing... 70 S vin onto a 68 (or 69T)... he got caught by the previous owner of the rusty 70 S shell and tried to chalk it up to an elaborate joke...
