NPR music. Tiny Desk Concerts.
you all watching some of the musicians on "tiny Desks"?. there is some fantastic music.
covid changed the format (for the worse) and the artist now play from their homes, or some stage they have access to. back in the day, they would cram into a tiny office with a tiny desk. usually acoustic (dont make me say "unplugged").
even musicians i do not tend to listen to, sound better in a tiny venue. intimate feeling. and they usually do a simpler version of the song without some rapper mixed in.
i never like Dua Lipa - but the recent upload is fantastic. she sounds like a sexy lounge singer!! voice all smokey and soft.
i dont want to embed the video. it is 15 mins long.
i just did yard work playing some Latin music. i didnt understand a single word, but the beat was awesome..and the music was amazing. i am NOT a Taylor Swift fan at all, but even her tiny desk concert was very good. Paramore? blew me away.
