But tomorrow I go pick up my MIL who is 88 years old and her dog that is just as old 😁 . But I am struggling on how we do the introduction without anyone getting hurt ☹️ . Her and her dog will be staying with us for about a month , I just hope all goes well .

walk both dogs immediately. no fanfare, no welcomes, just start walking next to each other. stay apart until they calm down and move closer as they get bored. separate again if they get riled up. keep grandma at home and get someone else to take her dog leash.
