I had the honor and privilege of seeing Bruce Springsteen on 12/9 1980. I wasn't really a Lennon or Beatles aficionado, but it was one of the most moving experiences of my life. The entire band came out onto the Spectrum stage dressed in black suits/tuxes, and Bruce said something along the lines of "its hard to come out here tonight, but Twist and Shout was the first song I ever learned... and proceeded to tear into the setlist backwards, starting with Born to Run, and ending with Twist and Shout.
