I jsut went out to get a pic of the forks I really like from that mid 2000 era. The look fork I held in my hand is the one I really like. Light, stiff, and they feel great riding. All carbon through and through. The straight blade fork on the yellow Colnago is an other favorite due to appearance. A bit soft compared to the curved one due to the lack of carbon and thinner blades.

My Alum. carbon Torelli. Those Reynolds forks are good forks too, stiff.



When I was a wee bugger, I built up a Trek 1000 frame with a Look carbon fork. Dura Ace on the back, single chainring before it was cool...that thing, combined with teenage energy, was a friggin rocket
