how about starting a thread on new fission reactor designs?

If from a decidedly lay perspective, I'm onboard. A newer & promising reactor general arrangement
presently being researched is the stellarator, an adaptation of the 'classical' toroidal magnetic confinement device design.

A review of the Cool Science Story Of The Day [Continuing Thread] might be in order as I recall the mention of fusion
more than once.
So 'til then,
Cheers
