I bought kits from Amazon for two air cooled 911’s. They were ‘carbon fiber’ hearing kits. A lot like this.

On my long hood. I hid the switch right next to the bolt that mounts the recaro seat to the slider. On the SC I put the switches in the center console between the ac knobs.
Either way, the kit was great. Easy to install, works very well.
