I have sold quite a few cars on BaT and the TMU is annoying. If your car does not have a 6 digit odometer they list it TMU. I had a truck with records going back to the day the truck was bought, detailed notebooks, yes multiple, showing mileage, amount of fuel in each tank, price of fuel and date, handwritten over the past 37 years. They still listed the car as TMU. I would guess they are covering their ass on that one.
That said I think they are a great venue to sell a vehicle, although I listed a car for my buddy, G50 Targa a couple weeks ago and it did not meet reserve,
