I am sorry to hear of your loss Vinman. I have been in your shoes many times, and every one of those times sucked. Our pets are such a large presence in our lives. They are truly family members. A dog is a special friend, loyal, loving, and playful. That combo is hard to find. Who else greets you at the door with a goofy smile and a wagging tail. They are a gift to mankind. Syd was a gift to you. You nourished that gift with love and received the same from him. He was your loyal buddy. RIP Syd
