Thanks for the input Macroni. I have had great difficulty in finding anyone within a 500 mile radius (Atlanta area, New Orleans area, Dallas, Houston, etc.) who is comfortable with the CIS/etc. I have had several conversations with Henk at CarparcUSA and he seems to have a good grasp on everything entailed in getting it in top notch mechanical condition while at the same time maintaining originality/ survivor status. He too recommended sourcing used carpet pieces to keep it original and his shop seems to be a "one stop shop" for getting all this work completed. It is critical to me that the rust repair/paint blending be done to an exceptional level as 90 percent of the original paint is exceptional for its age. CarParcUsa seems to be capable of this. The thought of flying out to LA and then driving the car 2,000 miles cross country is just icing on the cake.
