Windshield trim and paint
I just bought a new windshield to install when the car comes back from the paint shop. I've decided to do the black rubber trim instead of the stock metal trim. I know to ask for "lace" at the glass shop, but my question is: what type of paint should I use on the outside edge of the windshield. Will Krylon semi-gloss work? Is there any special prep before I paint? I met someone at the West Coast reunion with a beautiful orange V-8, and his windshield is done the way I want mine.
