To each their own... I personally can’t stand pickups. I owned a GMC ¾ ton for a number of years and don’t miss it at all. Just totally piggish and impractical. If I were a subcontractor or something, sure but 99% of the time it was just me and maybe a laptop bag or sack of groceries 1 and in an urban environment where I couldn’t fit into most parallel spots or subterranean parking garages. Ugh...

I like the European approach - much more sensible. But that’s just me. If it thrills ya and it’s what you want to spend your money on, go for it.
