I understand your frustration, but this isn't even close to a $40K car. It's a (much) better than new SC....much better. I like (with some reservations) what they did with the car.
Would I pay this kind of money for it? No. Especially since they spent $5K on a stereo. Seriously? After all that? Is it gold plated?
When cars are rebuilt to better-than-new they should command a premium. Certainly my SC would. I couldn't replace it with anything similar for tens of thousands of dollars over the regular market price. Would people pay me for that? Depends on how much they're educated on what was done or would have to be done to recreate it. Therein lies the rub.
But after all is said and done, does that make it (or any car) worth it?
