Devil's advocate on eBikes.
I must be missing something with the eBikes. Where is the exercise factor? Where is the consistent pedaling, and elevated heart rate? I thought that was a major intent of bicycling, particularly as you get older. Why not just get a Honda Monkey or a TW200?
There's already eBike rentals available in this town. Now there's tourists going 30 mph in a 15, blowing stop signs, running out of power in the back country...
Seems the eBike is just letting those that should have a little motorcycle training to simply zoom all over with zero experience or training.
Is the Schwinn one any good? Because I'm a Schwinn guy.....
