Those criticisms might have more relevance if they weren't around 10-15 years old.

I'm sure they do it right many times. The mark of a good company is when there is a problem will they make it right and do the right thing for the customer? Dell will NOT. I had a problem and they could care less. Appealing to escalations is a waste of time. They give you the "I can understand your concern" BS and then say "No soup for you".

"I never had a problem" is not the same as "I had a problem and they did what it takes to fix it and/or satisfy the customer.
