2.75" vs 4" tires depending on your usage, your terrain, whether or not you want suspension on your bike, or more efficient on pavement.

I have 2.75" width tires e-bike for my inner city riding, 95% on pavement, no particular need for soaking up road shock or loose gravel.
Operate at higher speed on pavement, but still under 25 mph.
In my NYC commute among congested traffic, 25 mph is plenty fast between cars & buses.


I have other e-bikes with 4"tires, better suited for off pavement riding. Better stability for older riders that are coming back to bicycling.
More of a plush ride for better comfort if you're not used to wearing padded bicycle shorts for hours.


Weight difference between the two tires/wheels isn't much of a difference unless you have weak motor output, or if you want to travel at high speed (20-25 mph) most of the time.
Which could be very dangerous on the trails, especially during COVID times when most folks avoid trips to the hospital.
