More men are color blind than women. But excluding the color blindness issue men can see the colors as well as women.
I worked in the professional photography photo labs for 30+ years total. Color is very subjective, and it is hard to get a new person to go for neutral gray and make a photo "look right" and produce a color print on light sensitive silver halide photo paper. Some people just can't do it.
And that is an orange bridge.
There are only 6 primary colors. This color wheel is screwey but the first I found in a quick search.
Red, Green Blue, Cyan, Magenta and Yellow. The rest oar just combinations of those colors.
