I was going to suggest to use iTunes Match and have the music matched to Apple’s media and what doesn’t match will automatically be uploaded. Once you get the little cloud icon in iTunes you can delete the media locally and have everything in the “cloud” and available on all your devices that use the same iTunes account. Then use your iCloud storage for files, pictures, etc and not wasted on music storage. If at anytime you want your music you can download the media and move to on-premise storage.
