i have resolved to continue getting my stuff organized. It's an irony that for all these years I have been buried in projects and really needed the stuff to be organized but didn't have time. Now I have time - because I'm not doing many projects.
I got a good start last year...
Sorted through about a dozen boxes of random nuts and bolts and separated them in to boxes with wood screws, sheet metal screws, 1/4 in. bolts, 5/16 bolts, 3/8 bolts etc.
One thing that has driven me nuts for years is selecting the right drill for Tapcons. The 5/32 and 3/16 are so close together in size that I need my glasses to tell them apart (it didn't help that some of the 5/32s were marked 3/16 because that's the size of Tapcon they're for
). So I sorted them out and painted the 3/16 blue and the 5/32 orange.
In 2021 I'm tackling this mess.
