There are many involved repair projects I have taken on. Windshields is something that experience helps to prevent broken windshields or leaks. Call your favorite body shop or upholstery shop. They will have a independent "guy" that does the gall as their business. Get that phone number and get him to come help you, or you help him. It will not cost that much. Cheaper than a broken windshield or two.
That is my suggestion anyway. Good luck. Just the sealants and equipment my cost you more than the pro's service call.
