Rod, there is a seal for the trans shaft in the tran case. I have replaced this seal also. It is preety easy. Again, be carefull not to gull or damage the shaft. The seal is behind the cone that goes around the shaft. There are two 10mm nuts holding the cone in place. I hope I have not forgotten anything. If so I am sorry. It was easier to do the trans seal then the main seal. HOPE IT GOES SMOOTH. Mark
