Thing is that this car has been recently mechanically refreshed, the engine trans and suspension rebuilt, interior is new but the body left untouched. It sat for a lot of years and the paint is a mess. The right rear fender was backed into some decades ago and not repaired properly so it needs work. I figure if body work is required then what a great opportunity to get some nice flairs on there. I'll be keeping this car for a while as it was purchased for exhaust system R&D, lots of guys putting big engines in these cars now that need to squeeze in a proper exhaust system in a tight space. The tinker bug is always alive so I have to resist that when prudent to do so. My first thought was to leave it exactly how it is, the rat rod look. Now the bug is creeping in making me think about fenders and paint. Probably stupid to spend any money on it at but you all know how that goes, ha!
