It’s a simple rational explanation.....people suck. It goes both ways, last week I was trying to buy a set of lightly used Pilot winter tires for my wife’s E63, full set lightly used for $500 which is a fair price. I asked the seller for his best price including shipping to my zip. He responded that the tires were about 25 each. In multiple messages back and forth I attempted to explain to him that I would need for him to provide me with a price including shipping if I were to pay him for the tires plus shipping. Finally he writes that now he doesn’t want to ship them, after wasting plenty of my time. I suggested that he needs to update his listing to indicate “no shipping”, to which he got indignant with me. The best part is that he updated his ad to show no shipping, but that he’ll meet within an hour of his house? Wtf? Guy is willing to drive two hours round trip but he won’t drop them off at a UPS Store. People suck....
