As I was ready to get into my 911 some guy in a HUGE F450 pickup parked in in the street and said he wanted to buy my car. I gave him my standard reply when someone offers to buy either vehicle, it is not for sale for any reasonable price.

Of course he asked what I will take for it. I told him my price was 50K and regretted not saying 60K. Of course he wanted to call his brother and get the money together. He handed me a car, and he sure knew my address.

I keep my garage doors locked, and the cars locked in the garage.
Considering your history with that vehicle and the market, $50k doesn't sound that unreasonable. Even if you could buy another SC or 3.2L Carrera for that money, it wouldn't be that car that you've driven all over the place, multiple tracks, etc.... If it was my car, I'd put a price on the history/provenance that you have with the vehicle. I'd tell folks something closer to $100k. If you're not selling, and you're trying to give them a price that they'll balk at, you may as well give them a good one. And if anyone ever actually shows up with $100k, then....
