I'm going against the flow on this one....
I've seen MP numerous times..never considered it that funny.
For every 30 seconds of funny..there is 5 minutes of foolish.
Doesn't hold a candle to most of Mel Brooks movies. Specifically, 'Blazing Saddles' or 'Young Frankenstein'
