I used to sleep on my back all night and not move. Then trained myself to sleep on my side to reduce snoring (now can't sleep on my back) . The matress we have seemed a bit too firm after using it for some time and we bought a topper from Costco. It has good air circulation and is supple. The problem for me is its suppleness seems to have changed the angle of my hips at night making for joint ache wakiing me up. An acetaminophen in the middle of the hignt helps out. So you might take the resting angle of your joints into consideration if making a change.
