Those are a thing my mother had made since I was a kid, & catsup is what I've always put on them. I agree with our comment about the catsup, but they wouldn't be the same to me without it. My wife makes them. I demonstrated the recipe and she does a better job on them than I. Once in a while, I tell her I need salmon patties and she makes them for me. My plate thanks you for the compliment.
