It may be a fun drive to Weatherford with cross winds. They are predicting 40 to 50 MPH gusts from the northwest so a headwind going out and a tailwind coming home, but at a 45 degree angle. It should be fun. We may want to take the Macan just to keep wind noise down. My old 914 was almost unaffected by cross winds. It was so low to the ground, and very little cross section. I remember once the CB radio was full of the truckers complaining of the cross wind, and I was extra careful not to be along side one any more than necessary to pass. I saw a few truckers pull over due to the wind.

I felt no cross winds at all, and could drive with one hand on the steering wheel. My 911 feels it more with the rear engine, and it is a lot taller than a 914. The El Camino does OK, but the windows are frame-less so the wind noise is pretty annoying at 75 MPH and a 40 MPH headwind.
