Hi Fred,

Charlie is the best out there on BW-KKK turbos, but he doesn't rebuild the ball bearing turbochargers.

Our local builder can disassemble it, spec out the shaft to see if it is worn, re-seal and reassemble it. If it needs a new shaft/turbine, those aren't available separately and you'd be looking at buying a new "supercore" (CHRA).

There are other companies rebuilding these turbos with aftermarket turbine wheels, bearings, etc. but we've seen mixed results: sometimes they last, sometimes they start blowing smoke under boost.

Edit: we have 2x local builders competent at rebuilding the GT/GTX-series ball bearing turbochargers.
