Stock AC sucks anyways in this era of 911's, I agree with others to just leave it be and disclose it when it comes time to list. Since my R12 ran low I've just left it that way and don't even bother with the AC. Cycle the fan every once and awhile just to keep things moving but nothing cold coming out these days. That said, I am lucky enough to live in a place where no AC is ok during the summer months save for a few days a year. If I ever decide that I really need AC in the car I plan on taking the plunge and installing an electric version. Had the chance to ride in a friends 1985 that put it in and I was very impressed with the output
