That's awesome Doc! Do you remember how much the tickets were? Was it "expensive but justifiable" for a one-time experience? We were all booked up to go Cagliari last spring to watch the AC World Series. I didn't work on the boat myself but I had sweet talked my colleagues into at least letting us into the paddock. Obviously that plan didn't pan out...

I thought the racing on day 2 was more exciting than yesterday. It looked like the the boat that was behind could very quickly catch up and overtake at any moment, if they got a bit lucky with enough wind to foil.

A bit like watching old timey boats when neither are foiling, which was painful and entertaining to watch at the same time. I'm guessing real displacement boats would be much more efficient under the same conditions.

Never been on foils before and would love to experience it. Anything not self-propelled would be fine - big cats, small cats, surfboard, etc.
