I did that once in a kart. I left a skid mark on the other guy's helmet. Wouldn't have happened if he didn't come into the corner way hot and parked it right in front of me. I landed just as the formula car did but it bent the engine rod so race over. The sudden shock when I hit the ground going through the motor did just enough damage and I got about another 2 laps.
