Our bathroom floors are kept just warm enough not to be cold for bare feet by the central heating pipes running under the tiled floors. We use rain shower heads and have hand held ones too. I do not like walk in shower cubicles, the only two I have ever used have let water out onto the bathroom floor.
We have a separate switch in the en suite bathroom that just puts on one blue led lamp over the toilet so that night visits do not wake up the other bedroom occupant via too much light when the bathroom designoor is opened.
