My vote is for stock R&P and 1st gear with 2 step shorter 2nd & 3rd and 1 step shorter 4th.
Here's my 930 accelerating to redline in 1st and 2nd with a stock 4-speed. Notice it takes about 1 second from onset of boost to redline in 1st gear. No need to be shorter than that.
