I use superglue or Krazy Glue. Any sort of cyanoacrylate glue that bonds skin will work.
Basically glue the crack closed and cover with a band-aid. After a day or two, the crack will have sufficiently healed at the tearing ends and the glue will have at least partially sloughed off with dead skin. From there it's nothing a basic moisturizer won't handle.
