It seems to pretty much wipe a month off your life as far as I can tell. Maybe less if you're young and lucky and maybe more if not.
SIL in Phoenix went 19 for 19 in immediate family members infected on or around Dec 23rd. 3 with pneumonia aged 10, 38 and 65. 38 yo fitness instructor on oxygen and antibiotics in the first 10 days but now in the hospital with worsening condition. Rest of the adults down for the count 3-4 weeks. Other than the 10yo, kids were fine.
It all started with one of the sisters who cuts hair out of her house and had 2 infected pre teens for a haircut.
I guess it's a basic risk versus benefit question.
