thanks burnz. i do moderate a YJ jeep facebook page and it's actually a ton of work. there is the group founder and another moderator besides myself but with like 40k members it's a handful. lots of people posting non jeep related spam items for sale, political stuff (although since the election this has tapered off), and people reporting things that offend them. been doing it for about 5 months and i have been very surprised at the number of people from other countries that never even had jeeps imported, and do not own a rig that want to be included. some of these peeps are in hundreds of FB groups that are US based hobbies and such that i figure they simply want to follow western culture. funny thing is i can now almost predict who's gunna spam the site when they ask for inclusion.
my pelican act over the last 19 years probably would prevent me from a mod position here. since losing interest in 911's and shifting to the "jeep life" i rarely visit anywhere here but the MPF to see what the regulars are up too. i imagine that my participation will decrease further after my car is shipped out in the next few weeks.
i never have been banned in all the time here, although ive gotten more than one warning over the years. old seanie-max and sweetest stump can't claim that!
