I just booked a rental car, and they have a GPS option for "just" 12 bucks per day. I will just use my GPS. For my 911 I have a ring mount that holds the GPS just under the clock. Out of the way and pretty much invisible to anyone from outside.
In car GPS systems are usually out of date in no time, and expensive to update. This GPS will update with just a wi-fi signal, or the USB cable.

I put a radio in my truck with CarPlay and it is light years better than any GPS I’ve had. Waze runs beautifully on it. I like it so much I may have to update the radio in the 944, even though I don’t drive it places where I need Nav. 🤣🤣
