My doc prescribed a Tens Unit. Not the cheap cheap that Shaq advertises for and not as powerful as the tabletop units at the chiropractor office.
I turn that thing up as high as it will go. It helps sometimes and sometimes it doesn't. But it's just part of the stuff I do to try to stop the pain.
Otherwise move to the UK where you can get Tylenol with codeine over the counter...
