Cyclobenzaprine aka Flexeril.....muscle relaxant, somewhat short term. . Prednisone for inflammation, short term. I have had hundreds of oxy pills prescribed for me, only took 2 after cervical surgery, watch out, cause constipation!
This was the same treatment I was prescribed. Helped short term during the acute phase, but long term has been the stretching that has helped.
