981 shortening final gear ratio, who has done it?

Hi everyone,

I've been thinking of trading my 911 targa for a 981 boxster GTS or spyder. I am concerned about the factory long gearing for both the manual and PDK. Who has gone with something like the following with their manual 981?

Did you like the final results? It sounds like a $10k upgrade when all said and done. Has it been reliable over the years? Any info appreciated.
